We are proud that EuroCC Austria interviewed Fabian Frauenberger and wrote an article about CloudShadingAI which is he world's first AI-powered shadow prediction tool (with HPC support from EuroCC Austria) that forecasts both, cloud and terrain shadows for photovoltaic systems with up to 95% accuracy over a time horizon of 15 minutes to six hours, enabling more efficient planning and operation of solar energy installations. Today the CloudShadingAI is hosted by SWISDATA and will be further developed through several projects for different use cases!
